Alumni and friends of the Department of Food Science are crucial to the fulfillment of the department’s goals. For the past several years our primary goal has been to obtain University approval to construct a new facility and creamery. A key component in the approval process was the successful solicitation of $6 million in independent funds from industry and other outside sources. With the help of contributions from our many friends, our original financial goal of $4 million in contributions has been met and exceeded! We wish to extend our thanks to everyone who contributed to achieving this goal.

However, financial support is still needed to properly equip the offices, laboratories, creamery, and pilot plants. We thank you for your past contributions and ask for your continuing support as the Department of Food Science moves into the future.
