The Pennsylvania Nutrition Education Network (NEN) provides a common link for public agencies, private agencies, and other groups working with Pennsylvania's food stamp recipients. Groups come together in the NEN to share information about nutrition education and implementation of such strategies through both public and private partnerships. The Network's mission is to educate low-income residents of the Commonwealth about healthful foods and to encourage good nutrition, which will then support other positive behaviors that can affect changes in the lives of the target population.
