GOALS

he goals of the Penn State/ACRI Cocoa Biotechnology Program are:
  • To increase and stabilize cocoa production
  • To improve the economic status of cocoa farmers and producing countries
  • To protect rainforest habitat and associated species
  • To provide alternate crops to coca farmers
